- Are you a nerd or a hippie?

I'm clearly a hippie. All the people I work with were clearly in that category too.
Ask yourself, what is a hippie. There's something beyond of what we see everyday. There"s something beyond going on in human life that is not just a job, a family, two cars in the garage and a career. There's something on the other side of the coin that we don't talk about much and that we experience when there's gaps. When everything in not order in perfect, when there is kind of  a gap. You experience this inrush of something. And a lot of people through out history have set of to find out what that was. And that's the same the same thing that inspires people to be poets instead of bankers. And I think that that's a wonderful thing. And I think that this same spirit can be put into products. You don't hear people loving product very often. So I don't think that the best people that I've worked with have worked with computers for the sake of working with computers. They used computers because they were the means that were best capable of transmitting some felling that you have, that you wanna share with other people.
